AERO 40S rim brake wheels use Toray T700 and T800 carbon fiber to the layup. The addition of T800 helps us to lower the weight of the rim while also retaining the stiffness. As we want to offer you two-year guarantee, we work on our own brand hubs. We want to put them on a diet while keeping their precision quality super high. The front hub has  20 spokes, while still allowing us to build you a super stiff wheelset. Featuring sealed bearings throughout you can be sure you’ll be doing miles on the road and not in the garage fettling. We have built the ultimate lightweight, affordable hubset.To go with our lighter rim and hubset, we felt that we should do something to help slow you down instead of just concentrating on speed. Our Aero wheelsets now feature a brake track that is tolerant of temperatures up to 300 °. To lace the wheelset together, we went with Sapim CX-Ray spokes. These spokes bring you titanium weight but steel strength — a happy combination that works well for our wheels
