Icarus Cup 2025 - A Bazaar of Kit Design For the Icarus Cup's 5th anniversary, our design team kicked off the kit creation process with textiles on their mind - past and present, at home and far afield. So, we spent countless hours poring through historic textile sources to imitate techniques like Indonesian batik and Malian mudcloth, while also drawing on trips to the likes of Morocco, Japan and even to our London office - where we recreated historic textile patterns once sold in nearby Spitalfields market. This is just one of 80 jerseys that made it from concept to creation ahead of the big event in Philadelphia.
