Pour boiling water over the tea and discard it. For every 8-12 ounces of water, use 2 teaspoons of tea (approximately the size of a quarter). Steep the tea for 2-5 minutes using boiling water at 158-176 degrees F (70-80 degrees C) . If you prefer a milder taste, use 1 teaspoon of tea instead. Description: White tea is from the younger leaves and leaf buds of the tea plant. It brews a light, champagne colored cup with delicate, honeysuckle flavor notes. Also known as White Peony tea.
