Replacement Rupture Disks

Alta Robbins replacement rupture disks are available in seven different burst pressures. Each disk is color coded to the corresponding burst pressure and comes with a Teflon Washer (P/N RDTW).  General information: For all products that incorporate a rupture disk. The nominal rupture disk burst pressure should be at least 40% higher than the system operating pressure. Rupture disk burst pressures will be reduced by pulsating pressures, elevated temperature, and internal or external corrosion. In corrosive applications, regular inspections and disk replacements are necessary. Use of this rupture disk in vacuum or alternating vacuum / pressure applications may cause premature disk failure. When vented, the rupture unit presents a potential danger caused by noise and escaping pressure, chemicals or fragmented particles.
