Book Charm: A Wrinkle in Time

Keep your favorites close to your heart!   A Wrinkle in Time! By Madeleine L'Engle! This pin was inspired by the 1980s paperback cover, featuring Mrs. Whatsit as that crazy pegasus-centaur.   Based on an original drawing by Jane Mount. She says: "With the Book Pins and Charms, I'm trying to capture the essence of a book in less than an inch square." This charm is made of hard enamel lapel with raised gold-plated outlines. It's about 1 inch tall by 0.75 inches wide, and on a 18" gold-plated chain (with a jump ring so it hangs facing forward). It ships strung to a small cardboard plaque in a cellophane envelope.
