
Ideal Bookshelf 1151: Baking
I’ve been meaning to make a Baking print for a while but it has never felt more apt than right now, in the time of Covid-19. Judging by my Instagram feed (and the empty flour shelves at ALL the grocery stores) I’d say we all wanna hunker down and make cake, no? In the past few weeks I’ve made brownies (the Baked recipe of course, but with pecans), bagels (thanks @kingarthurflour and @alexandracooks !), no-knead bread, chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, and fake newtons (thanks @smittenkitchen !). also, I just want to rewatch all the seasons of The Great British Bake-Off, there is nothing more soothing.🍪ANYWAY, I tried to edit this set of baking books down to super essentials but I just COULD NOT DO IT, so I just piled them all in.
