Ideal Bookshelf 1163: Antiracist Kids

In May 2020, you told Jane, via Instagram, all sorts of books to read to become antiracist and to make us all better people, and she made it into several Ideal Bookshelf sets, including this one for children. It includes books about racism (particularly in the US) and how to be antiracist, but also about what it’s like to be made to feel different and other or to be welcomed and included with love ❤️. (Most of the books have Black main characters, but other experiences are included as well.) 5% of the revenue from sales of this print will be donated to the Equal Justice Initiative. Founded in 1989 by Bryan Stevenson (author of Just Mercy), the EJI "is committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society."
