Tree of life - Carefully hand Carved Wood: Ideal for Use as a Wooden Platter or just table decoration

The Tale: We’ve carved this Esquisse emulating the “Tree of Life” décor, adorning the church of Sioni (V century). The Poplar tree, as it turns out, was considered to be the symbol for the biblical “Tree of Life” in Georgian culture and religion, the same tree that stands in the Garden of Eden, emanating beauty and exquisite fragrance. Popular poem says that it bore grapes at the top, and he who tasted it would be guarded against all harm.
