The Saddle Argus iHorn is made from an Argus C3 Cintar camera. The flash housing serves as the bell. The skin is saddle leather colored. The Argus C3 is a metal frame camera wrapped in pseudo-leather bakelite. It was made between 1939 and 1957 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It shot 35 mm film. It was probably the single largest-selling non-single-use 35mm camera in history. Over 2 million were sold during its lifetime, with its size and shape earning it the nickname of “the Brick.” Like all cameras, The Argus iHorn is a snapshot in time.
