Through the Storm

The mixed media reflects the beauty and humanity of young black men that are often ignored or erased. The patterns of our life, like the dynamic patterns of this piece, are unpredictable. We are complex in all the ways. But, more importantly, we are beautiful and worthy of love and protection. The storm will come. Has come, in fact. But we are still here.
