  Limited edition giclée prints on archival canvas. I will run two editions, (36x48) and (18x24). Each will arrive rolled in a tube, signed and numbered, with a certificate of authenticity. There will not be any more produced after this edition. 36x48 (50) 18x24 (50) The love between mother and child is perhaps the most recognizable dynamic in all of humanity. Here, I try to capture that dynamic in all its endless permutations, patterns, and colors. My signature quilting-esque background recalls the “make a way outta no way” mindset that has allowed black Americans to survive and thrive despite the many obstacles hoisted upon them from slavery and segregation to police brutality and redlining. Love knows no bounds. It was and always will be.
