Chiaroscuro natural botanical perfume obtained its name from the world of painting. The term comes from Italy, referring to the tonal contrasts suggesting volume and modeling of the subjects depicted. The literal translation of the word is light-dark. Chiaroscuro features a candied spicy sweetness with notes of jasmine and vanilla  contrasting with a rich dark, base featuring a rare and precious oils from the east, including oud and jatamansi, which is associated with the Magdalene.
