It is created by deconstructing a canvas, leaving the wood frame exposed and placing the design on the canvas using HTV (heat transfer vinyl). The design is applied using a heat press to permanently adhere the design into the canvas. This technique allows for imperfections in the wood frame which add character and charm to the sign.  The frame is not sanded to add to the distressed look and will contain imperfections including but not limited to nicks, dents, splinters, cracks and staples.  Hooks are provided on the back for hanging.
