Mending Workshop (Berkeley)

Don't get rid of that treasured sweater with snags, moth holes or worn-out areas. This class will help you resuscitate your favorite garments so you can wear them for a few more years. Bring items that need mending and we will help you work through them step by step.  Instructor - Celia McCarthy Celia is the former owner of Piedmont Yarn & Apparel and joined the ImagiKnit East team in 2024. Known as the "Yarn Therapist", she is an extremely seasoned knitter and crocheter with a passion for creating community. The class will take place in person at our Berkeley shop located at 2921 College Avenue. Hand sewing skills are a plus, but no previous experience (not even in knitting) is required.
