Giovanna was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma. Her family was quickly directed to the amazing doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. They were informed that the tumor would need to be removed with surgery. First however, they would need to try to shrink the tumor size with multiple rounds of chemotherapy.
