The Nasim: Regarding Congregating & Supplicating Upon Completion of the Qur’an

The ‘Nasim’ is a collection of litanies and supplications compiled by Sayyid ‘Abd al-Qadir ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Ali ibn Shihab al-Din, a student of Habib ‘Umar bin Hafiz. These litanies have been traditionally recited in Tarim, Yemen, some for over 1000 years, as part of the congregation of the Khatm of the Qur’an. With this publication of the Nasim, these powerful and ancient supplications are made available throughout the Muslim world. It is hoped that this publication will allow you, your family, and your community to connect with the blessed traditions of Tarim, and through them to the Prophet ﷺ and his family رضي الله عنهم.
