The Alpine PAS is a lightweight Personal Anchor System for fast ascents--it is over 40% lighter than the original! It is a safe, adjustable alternative to slings or quickdraws that also stores compactly. Chain-link-style construction eliminates the risk of pocket failure that is inherent in daisy chains. It is made from 11mm Monster Sling webbing. The Metolius Alpine PAS is for use as a personal tether only.
