Traditional Javanese Joglo House, salvaged, teak wood Footprint = 6'-6" wide x 9'-3" long, Eave Overhangs = 12'-10" x 15'-8", Overall Height = Approx. 18'-0" This structure is an elaborately hand carved traditional central Java Joglo style house. Made entirely from teak, this house was salvaged from the Sidoarjo area of Java. This structure is approximately 110 years old. Measurements are approximately 6'-6" x 9'-3" (outside of posts), 12'-10" x 15'-8" (outside edge of eaves. See pictures of drawings). The peak of the roof is approximately 18'. The current roof framing will not hold a snow load, so it would need to be reframed. But, the roof design could be any style (straight gable roof, double hip, etc.). Ideas for use: pool cabana, outdoor kitchen, meditation pavilion, structural support for a new addition to your home or cabin. Get creative!
