Remarks: Giant Spotted Emperor Tetras (Pseudochalceus kyburzi) are a medium-sized tetra that can certainly hold their own against aggressors. Adults can be territorial towards each other and will likely attack very small fish, but leave larger fish alone. They make for great tankmates for larger South American cichlids, such as Severums, Geophagus, and Chocolate Cichlids. The name P. kyburzi was given in honor of William Kyburz, who discovered the Emperor Tetra and was a famous fish exporter.  Scientific Name: Pseudochalceus kyburzi Common Name: Giant Spotted Emperor Tetra Max Size: 4" pH: 5.0-8.0 Hardness: Soft Temperature: 70-82° Aggressiveness: Peaceful Region of Origin: South America Captive Bred or Wild: Wild Diet: Small flake or pellet, small frozen or live foods Compatibility: Similarly sized schooling fish, dwarf cichlids, Corydoras, livebearers, rainbowfish, Loricariids Tank Mate Options: Red Spotted Severum Threadfin Acara Turquoise Severum *****Please review our Shipping a
