Remarks: Aulonocara sp. Walteri are sometimes called the Blue-Face Peacock. In addition to a deep blue covering the mouth and gill plates, these fish have navy-blue bodies, an orange streak from the forehead to the caudal fin following the edge of the dorsal fin, and jet-black fins with white trim. They are likely related to Aulonocara jacobfreibergi, which is evident from the long, frosted tips in the unpaired fins, similar to a Swallowtail, Otter Point, Eureka, and Lemon Jake Peacock. The dark fins and body color with the orange back really set this rarity apart from the others.  They occur in only a few locations in Lake Malawi, including Likoma and Chizumulu.  Scientific Name: Aulonocara sp.
