Brilliant Rasbora
Remarks: Brilliant Rasboras have long, torpedo-shaped bodies, pointed snouts, and a bright gold stripe parallel to their lateral line. Below the gold stripe is a smaller black border. As they mature, their tails turn bright red, which contrasts well with their golden-green body. They do best in schools of 6 or more. Care should be taken to avoid keeping them with larger fish that will easily swallow them, as their fusiform body shape lends itself to that problem very well. They are adaptable and can handle a very wide range of water conditions. They look great under low-light or blackwater conditions, as their golden stripe pops brilliantly. Tank decor include any plants, driftwood, and custom decorations of your choosing - they prefer having something to swim around or through.
