We have faithfully recreated a legendary brake system from the 1990s — the WestPine Brake. Inspired by the classic U-brake style, the WestPine features a bottom-mounted booster that makes it fully compatible with standard V-brake mounts. Its most striking feature is the parallelogram brake arm linkage, a rare design that, combined with full CNC-machined retro aesthetics, brings timeless charm to your bike. We also offer laser etching customization, allowing customers to engrave their name or logo onto the arch. The engraving appears in white and adds a personal, premium touch. Major Upgrades: 1. Redesigned Return Spring MechanismThe original design used a single spring connecting the top of each brake arm. However, during use, we found it was easily thrown off balance by small bumps in the road — one arm to stick to the rim while the other pulled away completely.
