Elongated Oval Amethyst Ring

14k yellow gold setting with a 19.86ct amethyst (16.49 x 22.81 x 9.66 mm). The amethyst has a light purplish hue and is bright and transparent; however, it darkens when worn. The stone is set in a unique, free-form design, resembling a hand gently holding the amethyst. Measurements: length outside of the gold prongs 15/16” (24.44mm) width  outside of the gold prongs 5/8” (16.49mm) depth top of the Amethyst to the inside of the setting ½” (12.79mm).
