New Fabric Over the years, we’ve made a number of different pants that are as equally suited to rock climbing as they are to everyday wear. Basically, we find that if pants meet the qualification to perform on a rock face, then they are going to be supremely comfortable for less demanding use. And who doesn’t like the idea of being able to scale a cliff at a moment’s notice?  Fabric Notes: Solotex® Stretch is one of the higher tech fabrics we’ve used at Battenwear. It has a 4-way stretch which accommodates athletic movement, and the material's superb softness (due to the springy, helical-molecular structure of the material) makes it perfect for all-day wear.
