1104 "Blessing"

Really a sweet little medium-miniature (just over 8” x 11”), with subtle and nicely matched shades of yellow and natural white in this little rainbow of colors. The weaver called this a “Blessing.” A visitor told me it is a design with maybe ceremonial significance, and she said the “blessing” was right. It has nice symmetry and tightness. Unlike a Throw (above), warp ends on this little Blessing are woven into a scallop.
