  Cate Blanchett called Ellis Red "a striking lipstick". It's her signature color, and is based on the natural color of blood. For Ellis, blood-red was the best shade to explain the "Human Colors" concept behind her brand: Ellis loved colors that by nature exist in the human body, and she was convinced that especially these non-synthetic colors are a very natural way of beautifying oneself.
