Like most of his fragrances, Dies Auroræ is born from his early emotions and memories of traditions and culture in his home town of Catania in Sicily. The delicious smell of sweet favors, typical of Saint Agata feast in Catania, couples with the ancient aroma drifting from the Cathedral, where incense, burning for hundreds of years, has settled on damp stones and smooth aged woods along with the honeyed smell of beeswax candles.
