1940s; General Electric Co. - New York Vintage black and white CRT, designated as model no. 806 (mahogany). This piece features a simple wooden chassis with safety glass screen and 10" CRT screen. It was sold under the "Daylight Television" banner by GE, as it boasted (for the time) brighter-than-normal pictures with higher contrast; this came as a result of many other TVs having a low-contrast and washed out image. Exhibits minor signs of wear including some scuffs and chips on the chassis.
