Antique Chippy Kochs Barber Shop Coat Rack in Green
c. 1920s; Theo A. Kochs Co. - Chicago Antique barber shop coat and hat rack with umbrella drip tray. This piece appears to boast a similar design as the No. 103 Koken base, but with a more ornate crown that what came standard on that piece; it features eight double-sided hook for both hat and coat storage and revolves around the central stalk. The cast iron body has had a green coat of paint applied, which was a standard option at the time, and meets in the center before splaying outwards at the base. Within the four legs on this piece is a small pan meant for catching drips from umbrellas. Exhibits minor signs of wear including the aforementioned "chippy" paint and some rust, namely within the drip pan. 23" dia x 69" H Please refer to photos regarding condition.
