Art Nouveau Blacksmith Spelter Lamp

c. 1910s - 1920s Early 20th Century blacksmith figural lamp molded from spelter. This piece features highly detailed embellishments and seems to be taken from the style of European sculptors and artists such as Gotthilf Jaeger. A small brass tag along the bottom edge reads "Le Forgeron" ("The Blacksmith") The two sockets over either shoulder of the blacksmith are in the form of large, figural plant bulbs.
