c. 1910s; D. S. Erb & Co. - Boyertown, PA Papier-mâché store display with composite weighted base holding a litho on cardboard sign advertising Castle Hall Cigars. This piece features the aforementioned stork used in a clever way to announce the arrival of new cigar products; the sign depicts it carrying two babies on either side of a scale with illustrated representations of the cigars and company branding bordering the piece. The sign hangs suspended from the stork's mouth with a thin piece of rope. Exhibits minor signs of wear consistent with age, with a fair amount of dust on the stork's body.
