c. 1900s; The Library Bureau - Boston, MA Antique oak library cabinet and chest of drawers. This eye-catching number was salvaged from a former life of being covered in blue paint. When this piece came to us, we had no idea that there was this much being hidden behind a coat of lead paint. But thanks to our crack team of shop boys, the paint was stripped and the finish was restored, bringing back this piece to its original glory. The top half features a large storage space with shelving hidden behind double doors; the front latch unlocks the right side and the left can be opened by flipping the interior latch within. The bottom half boasts 24 drawers of uniform size with brass nameplates and what appear to be be copper pulls. Exhibits minor signs of wear including some scuffs and scratches (mostly interior as the exterior was restored in-shop) and verdigris on the copper. 49.5" W x 16.5" D x 60" H Drawers (x24): 10.25" W x 14" D x 2.5" H Cabinet: 48" W x 14" D x 29" H Please refe
