c. 1880s/1890s; (likely) Charles Parker Co. - Meridien, CT Antique oak piano stool with adjustable height swivel. This piece is a feast for the eyes. Whether its the glass ball and cast iron claw feet or carved wooden adornments, this piece has The Look. At first glance, the top appears to be burl, but this was likely done by a buyer after purchase with a second color of stain/varnish. Around the border of this piece is a carved leaf motif border that pairs well with the carved appliqués on the leg.
