Antique leather and oak chair with tufted upholstery. This piece features a carved mahogany frame with scrolled armrests. The backrest is made up of deep button tufts and the leather is affixed to the frame with a nailhead trim. The chair sits on two carved, cabriole clawfoot legs in the front and two curved, but less ornate, legs in the back. Metal rods affixed to the legs, forming a series of triangles, provide an extra level of stability. Also available in our collection is a similar settle, or bench-style sofa, SKU 10236. This item is featured alongside the chair in the some of the photos. Exhibits minor signs of wear including some finish loss on wood, scuffs/scratches, and worn leather.
