1910 ‘s- 1920 ‘s Antique Ahooga Horn by The Garford mfg co. Hand signal - Claxon

Up for sale is this Ahooga Horn Hand Signal by The Garford Manufacturing Company out of Elyria Ohio, U.S.A.It's hand operated by pushing the rod into the horn.  It produces a loud Ahooga sound.  The horn was carefully removed from the body, taking care not to strip or damage the existing screws.  It was gently wiped out, oiled and adjusted to restore the volume of the "Ahooooooga" sound that it makes when pushing the actuator rod.  Finally, it was coated with a spray of LPS to retard corrosion.  It's original patina has been preserved.This horn is ready to use or can be restored to your liking.  The original mounting bracket and knob at the end of the actuator are missing.  Comes as pictured... please examine the photos as they describe it's cosmetic condition.
