Pluot

Any time I've had a conversation with  a customer that goes deeper than typical small talk, I invariably get asked when I'll make a Plumb National pattern axe. To be honest I haven't been very enthusiastic about the idea simply because I wanted to make my axes. Just creating a reproduction didn't appeal to me.  I finally caved around Dec 2021 and have been working on adding my spin to the overall design since then. Thus, the Plumb hybrid design was born as the Pluot. (Yes I realize Plumb is not the word for fruit). Designed for competitive throwing, the Pluot has a 4" blade and joins the ranks of my heavy axes at 1.7lbs. with a center of balance just forward of the handle it will have a slightly eager in the hand feel. This axe should meet the specifications and regulations for small axe competitions of most organizations. Those regulations are changing all the time though so if you're unsure, feel free to reach out! By default, this axe comes with a single handle.  Additional handles
