The Wingman

I created this axe design as the fourth of a set of axes paying tribute to the armed forces.  All of the axes in this collection will be double bit hatchets, incorporating some form of strong imagery that ties into one (or more) of the branches of the US military.  The Wingman carries the Air Force Wings pattern embossed on the front and back. To accommodate the wings i had to develop a bit of an unconventional eye to blade shape but overall it's a well balance axe. This axe should meet the specifications and regulations for small axe competitions where double bit designs are allowed as long as one bit is not sharpened. Those regulations are changing all the time though so if you're unsure, feel free to reach out! By default, this axe comes with a single handle.  Additional handles can be purchased here.  As an Infinity Axes special, this design incorporates a pinned handle design that allows for rapid replacement of handles.  The socket measures 1.25 inches x 0.75 inches with 1/4 inch
