Expanding on the Jersey Pattern family I finally found a duals friendly design that I'm happy with.  While the elongated poll does deviate somewhat from the Little J aesthetics, I felt it necessary to create an angle that wouldn't cause major deflections.  It did cause me some trouble with the weight though so I had to get creative with the embossing to keep the weight as close as possible to the Little J. I'm very excited about the potential for this design.  It has a fantastic melding of overall weight, blade optimization and a more compact design that will keep the weight of the axe closer to the boards. This axe should meet the specifications and regulations for small axe competitions of most organizations.
