INSTALLATION Installation of this product would be rated a 2 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected. Remove and replace your existing radio by removing the radio "bezel" dash surround trim typically held in with a few screws and/or retaining clips. A GPS antenna is included and easily installs behind the radio beneath the dash top under the windshield. A navigation map disc will be pre-loaded inside the system prior to shipping. THINGS TO KNOW If you are upgrading from a standard radio to this GPS navigation system you will need to purchase a replacement radio bezel (sold separately). Please contact our sales department to special order your vehicle specific replacement radio/dash bezel. Your 17-digit VIN will be required to order. If you are replacing a broken or defective REC navigation radio you will not need a replacement bezel and you will not need to install the included GPS antenna. The REC GPS navigation radio was offered from the factory in two different versions. One with a backup camera input and one without a backup camera input.
