It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected. Remove and replace your existing radio by removing the radio "bezel" dash surround trim held in with just retaining clips. Once installed make an appointment at your local Chrysler dealer service department to have the PROXI Configuration Alignment performed. This advertisement includes a replacement Chrysler 200 radio dash bezel that is designed for the 8.4-inch radio. Simply remove any vents or controls from your existing radio bezel and install them onto the replacement. They will follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
