We probably support your printer. Our pigment ink for HP 970/971/980 is of an extremely high quality. It matches HP specifications in all aspects from color reproduction to viscosity and pigment diameter. This allows the ink to flow smoothly through the printhead all while offering an excellent reproduction of original colors. This ink yields prints resistant to fading from UV exposure, smudging, and water. A pigmented ink that closely matches the physical characteristics of the original HP ink, like this one, is essential for quality results and for the proper functioning of your full-width printhead. This ink kit can be used to refill either original HP cartridges or used with our refillable cartridge systems for HP 970, 971, 980. NOTE about refilling original HP 970/971/980 series ink cartridges: Although the printer will not display the ink level of an original HP cartridge that has been refilled, the printer will not refuse to print unless there is physically no ink remaining in the cartridge. However, if ever a cartridge does become physically completely empty, the printer will display an "Ink Cartridge Depleted" error and refuse to print, even once you refill that cartridge. If this occurs, the only way to reuse that first cartridge is to install a different one, close the cartridge cover, and then reinstall the first. The second cartridge can be a brand-new original cartridge or a refilled cartridge. On the other hand, if you're using our Refillable Cartridges, there is no problem, since you will have your original HP set to use as a second.
