Watery Floral

This was painted from an “endless” still life, set up on a long table in early summer. Everything was in bloom!  I tried to capture the “wateriness” of the vases, the light energy of the blossoms, and how everything flowed into everything else.  It has been one of my most successful designs: I’ve sold many prints of Watery Floral and it has become fabric for leggings, scarves, swimsuits, aprons and more. My customers tell me how much they love seeing this design every day on their placemats.
