Peonies on Gold Tibetan Area Rugs

Peonies are a much prized flower grown in parts of Tibet and are used as a decorative motif on paintings, textiles and Tibetan Rugs. The large gold toned blossoms and foliage and the matching border are set against a neutral background of beige that captures the interplay of design and color that Tibetan Rugs are loved for. This rug is made from long fibred Tibetan wool that is soft to the touch, wonderful to walk on and highly durable for a lifetime of wear.
