On their second album, JU JU CLAUDIUS, the group--which also includes Childish's wife, Julie--dips into everything from swamp blues riffs to campfire stomps, all with a raw, garagey, lo-fi feel. When these old-school settings collide with Childish's quirky lyrical approach, the end results are not quite like anything you've heard before.
