I Am Honest —The fact is, we all lie at some time or another. However, for some people lying becomes a habit. Maybe it makes them feel more validated among other people. Perhaps they lie to get what they want, or it’s simply a habit they can’t break. Whether it is a big lie or a “little white lie,” they are all harmful. And outright dishonesty can be very dangerous. Lying shows its face from childhood on through adulthood and into business and relationships. Even though you may not intentionally set out to deceive others, people can begin to question your integrity and sincerity, making it hard to gain the trust and respect from those around you. When you lie, you cheat yourself! You want people to trust and love you and they want the same in return. You need that sense of a loving community and home.
