Description  Overview On April 29, 2024, the U.S. Department of Education officially published the final Title IX regulations effective August 1.  In the final Title IX regulations, the Department of Education included the first significant changes to the regulations related to pregnancy since the 1970s. Under this refreshed regulatory framework, higher education institutions must provide reasonable modifications for pregnancy and related conditions and take other measures to support pregnant students and employees on campus. This session will examine the 2024 Final Title IX Regulations and recent OCR resolution agreements, which provide additional guidance on implementing the new regulations, to help Title IX administrators and faculty understand their obligations under Title IX.
