There is a small circular strainer inside the Oil Pump (HPC1-OP) that serves as a final filter point for incoming oil before it enters the pump. * Be sure to purchase the oil pump gasket with this as well. It tends to come apart when replacing the Oil Pump Stainer. SKU : 30415
