Tenuta San Jacopo Chianti Riserva DOCG 2020

Founded in 1737 near the church of San Jacopo in Cavriglia, Tenuta San Jacopo spans 140 hectares of organically farmed vineyards, olive groves, and woodland in the hills between Chianti Classico and Valdarno Superiore. At 300 meters above sea level, the estate includes 40 hectares of vineyards producing wines under the Chianti DOCG, Valdarno Superiore DOC, and Chianti Classico appellations. Fully certified organic since 2003, San Jacopo is led by second-generation vintner Costantino Cattaneo, who honors the estate’s deep roots while embracing new approaches to winemaking that bring fresh energy to this historic Tuscan estate.  Deep ruby red in color. A nose of ripe cherries accompanied by sweet spices, tobacco, leather and fine balsamic notes.
