The passion and dedication of Craig and Susan Handly shine through in their elegant Napa Valley wines. After 25 years designing wine labels, Craig realized he’d been heading toward winemaking all along and launched his first vintage in 2001. His wife, Susan, a St. Helena native, comes from a deep-rooted Napa Valley lineage—her father has been growing grapes for over 60 years, with contracts spanning iconic names like Louis Martini, Cakebread, and Chappellet. Today, their wines focus on single-vineyard expressions of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Syrah, Dusty Red, and Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the Carpenter Ranch Estate. The nose expresses lush ripe blackberry, currant and French oak. The first taste expresses classic Cabernet fruit. In the mid-palate dark cherry, deep plum and heaps of ripe fruit lead to a long sustained finish. A classic steak Cabernet, perfect also as a stand alone. 750 ml
