Speckled Gold and Orange Tassel (M260)

18th century Italian speckled mecca gold-leaf and orange church tassel ornament with original hook. The gilded tassel has naturally distressed over time which shows the original orange bole underneath and creates a unique pattern to the tassel.  The tassel originally came from an Italian church in Tuscany and was used during feast days. Each one is hand-carved and gilded and can be configured into a holiday ornament and decorations to recreate a Rococo-style Christmas.  *The listing is for one tassel but multiple can be purchased to create a set of ornaments.
